Systems Administrator at The Chapel - Libertyville Illinois

The Chapel is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to provide technology solutions and systems support for all staff and volunteers across all campuses of The Chapel. This person will be the first that people interact with when they have technology issues and therefore, must have excellent people and communication skills as well as proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities also include maintenance of computers, servers, installing/updating computer and server software, adding and removing users from the network, shared file/folder maintenance, and technology asset inventory. Other duties include designing, purchasing, deploying, training and troubleshooting technology solutions encompassing areas such as desktops/laptops, servers, phones, printers, copiers, software and networks. This person must have an extensive working knowledge of network operating systems and networks, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to train and communicate technology issues with non-technical people, and the ability to organize, manage and lead volunteers. Furthermore, the Systems Administrator should have a passion for making the complicated simple, a desire to use automation to make life easier and the ability to trouble shoot pretty much anything that plugs in or has a blinky light.
