Full-Time (40 hours per week, including weekends)
Reports to: Communications Director
Summary of Role:
Manage all aspects of video production for Emmanuel. This role includes, but is not limited to, directing all creative and technical aspects of video production for multiple environments, across all campuses and online.
Summary of Essential Functions
- Attend planning and creative meetings as a contributor
- Write scripts and help in developing creative content for all requested projects
- Serve as primary project manager for all video projects and set reasonable timelines for each project
- Produce and direct all pieces of desired video content
- Manage centralized video production budgets
- Finalize pre- and post-production aspects of all videos
- Oversee video pieces during weekend experience as assigned
- Lead and develop video producer and the work they produce
- Perform other duties when requested by the Communications Director
- Foster and champion a healthy staff culture by adhering to Emmanuel staff values and through a growing personal relationship with Christ
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years equivalent work or volunteer experience in cinematography
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meeting schedules in an organized manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a live, weekend service environment
- Ability to manage a team of employees and volunteers, and also serve in production roles as needed
- Demonstrate a servant’s heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and ministry information
