IT Specialist | The Life Church of Memphis

The IT Specialist supports, maintains, and improves the technology of the organization to ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work and the organization’s important information remains safe and intact.

IT Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the IT help desk and support users with a variety of IT related issues - including but not limited to; hardware, software, network, and printer
  • Remain up-to-date on training and updates for all hardware-related systems
  • Purchase new technology, handle installs and maintenance
  • Maintain inventory on all company IT assets
  • Implement and manage a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution for church-owned devices
    (computers, tablets, etc)
  • Coordinate and support network infrastructure and installs at all locations
  • Support the printers with basic troubleshooting solutions & being a point of contact for Printer Contractor
  • Develop internal structures, processes and documentation to ensure we provide consistent and excellent
    IT support
  • Support the IT budget (tracking, spending, forecasting for future computers, software and IT equipment)
  • Work closely with the Systems Analyst to ensure technology and systems work well together
    (MinistryPlatform, Check-In, etc)

Requirements:

  • Mac Computer proficiency required
  • MDM Experience preferred
  • Google Suite proficiency preferred
  • Adaptable to Processes & Systems
  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Position is approximately 40 hours per week including weekend support hours and special events
