Interns, personal/spiritual development

At the last church I was at, when we got interns, our job was essentially to train them well in the Church IT professional area and HR together focused on personal/spiritual development with interns during an Intern Time every week. The church I am at now doesn’t have anything like that.

Is there something your church, or a church you know of is doing with interns that you are impressed by? Let’s discuss ideas about how we can help give IT Interns a fuller experience.

All of our interns, from ministry roles and ministry services such as IT, Operations, etc…, are required to go through our “Training Program”, which is a year long (2 semester) in-depth Bible course at our church. It’s been accredited through several seminaries, so they are essentially getting their first year of seminary for free.
