For the past 6-8 weeks I noticed my internet page load times slowed down considerably. At first, I thought it was due to the fact that our main Firewall suffered a lightning event and was fried. After replacing and re-configuring a new Cisco ASA, page load times did not improve.
After some troubleshooting research, the issue only appeared to affect primarily Windows 10 users, and some Windows 7. Mac users were not impacted.
My IT peer installed the Win 10 Creator’s update, and voila! Problem solved.
I installed it on my Win 10 workstations, and slow internet page load times were back to normal (fast).
Anyone else seeing this issue? I’m not sure what update may address it on Windows 7 Pro.
