So one of our staff set up a communications sharepoint site rather than a team site. The problem is that there is no option for preventing downloads of a shared document like there is on a team site. I’ve check all of the global sharing options for the site and they’re exactly the same as a team site that has the prevent downloads option.
Pretty sure you need to create a new permission level and apply it to the users to do that.
