We have been using JAMF imaging from external hard drives, and was working great until High Sierra.
Please let me know what the best way to imaging with High Sierra.

There is no more “traditional imaging” with APFS. We’ve built out a PreStage Enrollment and smart group based policies in Jamf to do initial setup now.
Not new install imaging… but for upgrades Ping @benfifield he made a magic button in self service that the user clicks and waits 30 minutes and then you are done.
